Independence Day @ FIS

Freedom International School celebrated the 78th Indian Independence Day with great pride and deep patriotism.

The event commenced with a divine ambience as the school choir recited a soulful prayer, setting the tone for the day. The flag hoisting ceremony, accompanied by the national anthem, the revered national song “Vande Mataram”, and a medley of three well known patriotic songs, stirred feelings of love and reverence for the motherland. A flawless march past, showcasing discipline and unity followed the Principal’s inspiring speech. The juniors then performed an energetic and vibrant dance, enthusiastically captivating the audience. A thoughtful skit, exploring human perception and the impact it has, was deeply moving. The event concluded with “YATRA”, a mesmerizing traditional and contemporary dance featuring graceful and precise steps. The celebration left everyone beaming with pride and filled with patriotic fervour.
