At FIS, children continue to learn through games and activities even in the senior classes. In addition, they put together 'student-made' worksheets, have group discussions, do projects, prepare power point presentations and often work across disciplines. [For instance, they may write a poem about the different kinds of teeth that we have or dramatize an incident in history or express their views on the French Revolution through painting.] Children are encouraged to be independent, responsible and self-disciplined. The school also ensures that academic competition consists of each child comparing their scores to their own previous scores and trying to better them each time.
