AWARD CEREMONY AND INVESTITURE

Freedom International School recently hosted an Award Ceremony for exceptional academic excellence, a testament to its commitment to academic and holistic development. The Award Ceremony was followed by the Investiture Ceremony for the newly appointed School Cabinet. The ceremony commenced with an invocation song followed by the welcoming of the Managing Director, Ms. Sushama, the Founder Principal, Ms. Jayanti Prabhakar, the Principal, Ms. Sneha Rai and the Vice-Principal, Ms. Clara David.

The highlight of the morning was the Award Ceremony; the students were recognised for their academic achievements. In the tapestry of FIS’s achievements, one name shines with exceptional brilliance - Asmita Goswami, Humanities stream, who was the Bangalore Topper with an astounding 99%. She was generously awarded a scooter by the Bangalore Sahodaya Schools Complex Association. Our FIS Management too awarded Asmita with a cash prize of ?20,000/. Shruthi Subramanian from the commerce stream was the third topper from Bangalore and the FIS management recognized her remarkable feat with a cash prize of ?15,000/-. The FIS management also awarded a cash prize of ?5000/- to each of the TEN students from Grade 12 and SEVENTEEN students from Grade 10 who achieved a centum in various subjects. The applause was thunderous as each recipient walked up to the stage to receive their well-deserved accolades, while their parents looked on and beamed with pride.

The Investiture Ceremony commenced with a disciplined march past, showcasing our students' pride and teamwork. The Principal delivered an inspiring address, emphasising the values of perseverance, integrity, and compassion. Her words resonated deeply with the audience, highlighting the school's mission to nurture not only academic excellence but also the qualities of character and leadership among its students. This was followed by the Principal pinning the badges on the students, symbolizing the responsibility and commitment undertaken by the student leaders. The solemn oath-taking ceremony administered by the Head Prefect, Misha Sharma, affirmed their commitment to uphold the school's values and foster positive change. Finally, the signing of the cabinet book marked the official beginning of their term. The ceremony concluded with a sense of purpose and anticipation for a year filled with growth, learning and accomplishment galore!
