International Yoga Day @ FIS


“Embrace the flow” was the theme of FIS's celebration of International Yoga Day this year. By eight in the morning, parents and students gathered at the FIS Sports ground to practice Vinyasa yoga. Every step in Vinyasa yoga is timed to the breath. Priority is given to the breath, which serves as an anchor as you transition between poses. The program began with a divine prayer, then moved into stretching exercises, a 15-minute Vinyasa flow, relaxation, a display of advanced yoga poses by competitors in the National Level Yoga Championship, an oath, and a closing prayer.
